When I should have been working, inspiration hit, and I had to make these postcards!
I call it the “Auto-Mustacher”, guaranteed!
You need paper, a pair of scissors, marker pen, laminator and highlighters (optional).
Step 1: Cut the paper to the size you like. Mine was A6, or a quarter of A4.
Step 2: Scribble an outline of a frame.
Step 3: Colour the frames. I used highlighters, but colour pencils or markers would work too.
Step 4: Cut out the center of the frames. I didn’t cut all the way to the edge for the comic book effect.
Step 5: Use the center bits of paper to draw the mustaches with a marker. You can also draw hats (for Christmas) or bunny ears (for Easter). Cut out the mustaches. If you would like to write any messages on your postcard, here is where you would do so. But you cannot correct any mistakes after laminating.
Step 6: Lay it all out between the laminator sheets. Once you’re happy with the layout, put it through the laminator. Cut around the paper, but leave at least a 5mm edge.
Step 7: If you haven’t already written instructions or messages, you can use a marker to do so. If you make any mistakes, whiteboard markers or nail polish removers should be able to remove marker ink from the laminated surface.
Step 8: Test your new mustache!
